Private Excursion to Suomenlinna Sea Fortress and Vallisaari An excellent, engrossing and entertaining tour with Timo that gave us an in-depth view of this UNESCO site which played a pivotal role in the geopolitics of the Baltic throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. Timo is knowledgeable, entertaining and with his appreciation of the wonderful flora and fauna of the islands brings an important additional dimension to the trip. Weather was certainly challenging but that did not impair our enjoyment of this incredibly beautiful visit to the fortress islands.
