Lingonberry (Vaccinium Vitis-idaea) is an evergreen heather herb that grows in Finnish clean forests. It grows up to 5 -30 cm tall, and can be found over a large area in the northern hemisphere. Lingonberry blooms in May-June and the red edible berries ripen in September.
