Ketunpoika's blueberry jam

Blueberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) is a heather plant (Ericaceae) of the genus Vaccinium, which produces edible berries. It is a typical coniferous forest plant whose sprigs can keep growing for up to 30 years. It thrives in herb-rich, mesic and sub-xeric heath forests of southern Finland. 

Blueberry is one of our most common forest plants and is one of the main reserves of our coniferous forests. Blueberry is important for animals and also for humans: it is one of our most beloved and economically important forest berries.

Blueberry berries contain flavonoids and good flavors which is why this berry is called "superfood".

Ketunpoika's Blueberry Jam contains blueberries picked from clean Finnish forests and some jam sugar. Original product of Ketunretket in Järvenpää Finland. Packed in 0,32 -litre glass jar, weight 320 grams.
