Black Wax Mushroom (Hygrophorus Camarophyllus) is a delicious, three-star edible mushroom. It can be fried in the pan as such, and then a sweet, perfumed aroma spreads to the kitchen.
This mushroom prefers mossy spruce forests, where it often grows the cap touching the moss. This is a late autumn mushroom, although the picking season can begin in August. Drying is the best preservation method and dried pieces can be eat like chips.
