 Snowy winter in the national park of Sipoonkorpi called for Ketunretket members to enjoy bright and cold outdoor life.   Ängesböle area has some abandoned buildings, and beside them local Forest Government Metsähallitus has built new fire site, so some of the small foxes of the forest were staring at us...

Matka18-exhibition fair collects travel industry people together into the Exhibition Center in Helsinki. One day is dedicated for professionals to build networks and then it will not be so much people wandering around. Hyvinkää is visible: Hyvinkää Sveitsi, VisitHyvinkää, Hyvinkään Erämatkat and Hyvinkää travel guides are present here. You might also be able to meet actor Antti Luusuaniemi and magician Europe champion Miika Peltonen. The master of Kytäjä Manor, mr Hjalmar Linder and Maria de Heyden visited the Hyvinkää stand also. We could also find Naantali's Moomin Valley people here, although they should have been on their wintertime hibernations...  Travelling fever is rising, curiosity and the unscratchable itch of travelling getting worse... when shall we go. where are my passport and toothbrush?
Hyvinkää PreTour visited Knehtilä's Organic Farm in Hyvinkää. We had the opportunity to learn about the Farm's Organic production, make ice sculptures and enjoy delicious dinner that was prepared by our hostess Minna Sakki-Eerola. After dinner we also had Santa Claus riding onsite with his Hobby Reindeer "Kepporo". Kepporo was happy when Santa Claus announced, that he will have the opportunity to travel to Kunshan... new home would be the vice-mayor of Kunshan Water-Town Huang Ping.    While waiting for the Travel Exhibition Fair we had an opportunity to enjoy Hyvinkää Town hospitality in the premises of Old Woolfactory Villatehdas. Hyvinkää Travel Guide representative Guide Arja holds the whole system in her hands!  Hyvinkää Scouts have a nice small house in Usmi wilderness and we had an opportunity to visit that site with travel agents from different countries. They were informed about the outdoor activities available in Hyvinkää area by Hyvinkään Erämatkat / Tero Lindholm. Tero had also prepared delicious smoked salmon and noodles.  Snowshoeing with a hobby horse - a completely new outdoor activity!  After outdoor activities the food is always delicious and good  Tero acts as a waiter and provides wonderful smoked fish meal for the guests
The ice on Lake Tuusulanjärvi is in very good condition for many kind of outdoor activities. We tried riding our hobby horses! The ice was full of skaters and if you remember to take the metal stick and other tour-skater's equipment with you, it should be safe enough. The new ice was howling and mourning like a cat in April moonlight! These pictures show three kind of "Finnish Oddity" -theme crazyness: If you look carefully, you can see icy pit swimmers, hobby horse riders and tour skaters! Next week in Helsinki Exhibition Center will start the International Travel exhibition Fair. Ketunretket will be on Thursday at Perho liiketalousopisto stand telling more about the adult education possibilities.
